Trace metal concentration in benign vs. malign prostate

Researchers Yaman et al from Firat University, Turkey investigated the nutrient and toxic metal imbalance of healthy prostate vs. cancerous prostate tissue, and found significant differences. Calcium, zinc, iron, and nickel were higher in malign prostate tissue than in the benign. The study was published in 2005.
